Prior to Arrival of Appliances
- Make sure an adult, 18 years or older, will be present to accept & sign.
- Ensure a clear path from the street to the residence entrance (e.g. clear of ice, snow debris, etc).
- Ensure the inside of the home has an accessible path (e.g. move furniture, toys, pets, etc.)
- Please check the measurements to make sure access will be available.
- If your delivery includes Haul-away, please ensure that the unit you would like removed is disconnected from water, gas and electrical connections, clean on the outside, dry on the inside and completely empty of all contents. If Laundry, the unit must not be stacked. If this is not completed, Haul Away will be declined and will not be rescheduled.
Will my new appliance fit?
- Delivery is subject to reasonable access to the area without damaging the purchaser's property or the product, or jeopardizing the safety of the delivery personnel.
- In the event suitable access is not available, the delivery agent reserves the right to terminate delivery for a refund or change the service to Threshold.
- For all other merchandise delivered In-Home, visit How to Measure to ensure the delivery can get to the room of your choice.
What to expect during installation
- Please inspect your item(s). You will be required to sign a Proof of Delivery receipt.
- Please note any damage to the item or packaging on the delivery receipt or, if refusing delivery due to damage, please note “refused due to damage” on this receipt.
- For Your Safety, For In-Home Services, Our Teams Cannot:
- Remove their shoes, but will act with the utmost care to protect your home and merchandise.
- Lift or hoist merchandise over banisters, countertops or other obstructions, or through windows to complete a delivery.
